Our Mekong Cruise Itineraries

Mekong Cruises offers three Mekong River cruise options in Laos, designed to suit all travel durations and budgets. Whether you have just one day or two days with an overnight stay at a lodge, you will board our traditional teakwood boats and travel between Houayxay (on the Thai border) and Luang Prabang (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

All of our cruises are available in both downstream and upstream directions, either from Houayxay to Luang Prabang or vice versa.

The 2-day cruise with an overnight stay at the Luang Say Lodge is our most complete and most popular option. It allows you to travel the entire route from Houayxay to Luang Prabang while enjoying a unique night in an eco-lodge in Pakbeng.

Our prices start at $110 per passenger for a 1-day cruise, $160 for a 2-day cruise without accommodation, and $182 for our signature 2-day option with an overnight stay at the Luang Say Lodge. All meals and excursions are included.

The dry season, from October to April, offers the best navigation conditions and pleasant weather. The rainy season (May to September) features more lush and green landscapes.
Yes, our cruises are family-friendly. Children are welcome on board and at the Luang Say Lodge. Reduced rates are available for children under 12 (please contact us for details).
